Spiral is dedicated to promoting health and wellness with all of its offerings. In addition to the standard yoga classes, workshops, special events, and ongoing series to promote optimal nutrition and lifestyle will occur regularly.
Spiral’s rich community will also support your well-being. Relax on our patio with a cup of tea from Urbanistic Tea and Bike Shop after your yoga class. Mingle with other students in our lounge/gallery or take a power nap in our beanbags. Become a VIP (fyi--you are all VIPs!) at our Friday night events--Stir Your Soul™.
Prevention & Wellness Medicine; Disease and Weight Management
Brent Jaster, MD, is a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, and a board–certified family physician. Brent has co-written the Nutrition Guide for Clinicians (1st and 2nd ed.) and is committed to promoting healthy nutrition and behaviors to prevent, manage and reverse disease, and support maintenance of an optimal body weight. Brent will lead ongoing series to promote permanent changes to nutritional and behavioral habits. Insurance will be accepted in many cases, and when insurance reimbursement is not possible the sessions will still cost about the same as a typical medical co-payment.
Brent is a national expert and consultant for shared medical appointments, where people with similar concerns meet regularly with a physician to support one another, learn more about their chronic condition, improve quality of life and disease outcomes, prevent complications, and share individual expertise regarding living with a chronic condition. No doctor, no matter how smart, can replace the power of the group and its dynamic; therefore Brent leads all series in a fun and empowering group format.

Additional Offerings
Spiral will offer Ayurvedic workshops to promote optimal nutrition for the different doshas.
Yoga for Labor and Delivery is a partner workshop led by Laura Wade Jaster and Brent Jaster, MD.
Cooking workshops will provide tips and tricks for quick and tasty, healthy meal prep for the beginner and advanced cook. All recipes will promote optimal health and weight loss/weight maintenance.
